Born April 4, 2009

Rhett
Out of Magic Mist Top Secret and by Windy Woods Speckled Ice, this palomino pinto colt inherited tobiano and splash from his sire, and sabino from his dam.   "Rhett" has got a lot going for him, and not just his coloring!  His dam's sire and dam both have too many National awards to list here, and his dam achieved her Halter Hall of Fame before becoming a broodmare.  His sire is a multi-National Top Ten producer, with limited foals showing.  "Rhett" has lovely straight legs, a nice topline and tailset, and has terrific movement.  He also has one bright blue eye.  He is offered for sale, bargain priced at just $1000-- no reflection on his quality, just the current market.   More pictures and information will be coming soon.

Ice

Pleasant Meadows Showtime x Tinker Toys Freckles
Lab tested cremello dun homozygous pinto.

We leased Ice from Cherilyn and Keith Simagna of MMMTC for the 2008 breeding season, and are expecting seven of his foals in 2009.  Two other mares carrying Ice foals were sold, and another outside mare was bred.   Every mare that Ice bred last year settled. Good job Ice!

All photos of Ice are all natural, straight out of the pasture, not body-clipped. He has never had a neck sweat on, never been "show conditioned", never even taught to "stand up" the camera really doesn't do this beautiful horse justice. He is a magnificent horse with a beautiful neck and a lovely trot. He is a once in a lifetime kind of horse. Thanks SO much to the Simagnas for trusting us with their beautiful stallion!

Update!  The first  has arrived, on March 2nd-- a beautiful buckskin pinto colt!

Secret in the show ring
Out of Mountain High's AMayZing, by Happyland's Topper. Secret won our club's Futurity as a weanling, then got a few years off due to sand colic surgery. She went back on the show string in 2003 and really "wowed" the judges. She received unanimous Grands in Halter under all four judges at her first show of the season, and went on to receive her Hall of Fame in Halter. She was immediately retired from showing after that because she was in foal to Eldorado's Bonsai Cast In Bronze for a March 2004 delivery of Magic Mist Dark Secret. See Secret's page for more info and pics.
